Designer collaborator at FabLab Santiago for the creation of SandBot.
SandBot is a Project funded by the Minister of Culture and Research of Chile, which provides public funding for projects dedicated to the promotion of arts, culture, and heritage. In 2013, the Chilean Minister of Agriculture published a report expressing that the 30% of the Chilean soil at the Atacama desert was available for production, the question was: to produce what? Sandbot is a research project that injects a biopolymer into the sand using the same system of a 3D printing machine to produce objects in rural communities, particularly in the Atacama Desert.
