Project Overview

The goal was to create an intuitive, visually appealing interface that simplifies home automation while providing seamless control of smart devices.

Process
1. User Research & Analysis: Conducted user surveys, interviews, and competitor analysis to understand user behaviors, pain points, and preferences.
2. Information Architecture: Redesigned the app's information architecture, creating logical user flows and intuitive navigation paths.
3. Wireframing & Prototyping: Developed wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize the app's structure and functionalities, allowing for user testing and feedback collection.

4. Visual Design: Crafted a modern and cohesive visual design, aligning with the brand identity, incorporating user-friendly color schemes, typography, and iconography.
5. Usability Testing: Conducted usability tests with target users to identify usability issues and refine the design iteratively.

Process

User Interviews: One-on-one interviews with existing users, potential users, and stakeholders, about their goals, challenges, and behaviors related to the product or service.

Scope: Define the boundaries of the project, including the types of content, features, and user interactions to be considered.

I developed a hierarchical diagram illustrating the organization of content and the relationships between different sections or pages with a visual representations of the paths users take to complete specific tasks.

This helped to understand how users navigate through the system.
